Explore the wonders of Genetics with GlaxoSmithKline’s Science in the Summer, coming to the Radnor Library from July 14-17, 2014. Students will conduct investigations about human chromosomes and genes, such as building a cell, extracting DNA from a strawberry, examining their fingerprints, and constructing a DNA molecule. Registration is open from May 1-30 for children entering grades 2-6 in the fall of 2014. Participants will be chosen by lottery during the week of June 2. Please come to the library in-person to fill out an application or call for more details.
